01. OVERVIEW
Digital Workie started to work with Sonoco Malaysia since 2022. Sonoco Malaysia aimed to increase organic traffic and rank relevant keywords to generate more organic conversions.
02. SOLUTION
In 2022, Mr Yu, the Head of Sustainability and Marketing of Sonoco Asia, engaged Digital Workie to work on their SEO. One of their challenges is that their competitors have started to rank above them with the keywords they are looking to target.
Sonoco is one of the giants in the packaging industry. But for the Malaysia division they are focusing on Paper Food Packaging.
Digital Workie quickly analysed and researched the competitors he mentioned and came out with an effective and customised SEO strategy to outrank them.
After identifying all the relevant keywords that the competitors are ranking and Sonoco’s are lacking, we did all the keywords analysis and research. Then, we start to map the keywords properly and identify which area they are lacking.
03. RESULTS
The SEO campaign was a success. In 12 months’ time, Digital Workie has helped Sonoco Asia to generate 829,000 organic impressions, which resulted in an increase of 65.33% of their organic traffic and generated 534 conversions.
